Second, wear resistance
Bearing task, the collar, rolling body and maintenance frame between not only the onset of rolling friction, but also sliding friction, so that the bearing parts have been wearing. In order to increase the wear of bearing parts, maintain the stability of bearing accuracy and extend the service life, bearing steel should have good wear resistance.
Hardness is one of the important qualities of bearing quality, and has an indirect effect on contact fatigue strength, wear resistance, and elastic limit. Bearing steel hardness in use should reach HRC61~65, which can make the bearing obtain high contact fatigue strength and wear resistance.
Fourth, rust prevention performance
In order to avoid the bearing parts and finished products in the processing, sending and use of the course of erosion and rust, bearing steel should have good rust resistance.
V. Processing performance
Bearing parts in the consumption process, to go through many cold, hot processing procedures, in order to meet the requirements of a small amount, high efficiency, high quality, bearing steel should have good processing performance. For example, cold, hot forming performance, cutting performance, hardenability, etc..
In addition to the above basic requirements, the bearing steel should also have proper chemical composition, average external organization, few non-metallic adulterants, external appearance shortcomings in accordance with the specifications and the external decarburization layer does not exceed the rule concentration and other requirements.
